Inspiration behind Picnic a la Playa hit me when my fiancé and I were traveling — and eating our way — through Europe. During our stop in the City of Love, he surprised me with an intimate picnic with views of the Eiffel Tower. That experience is one I will always cherish.

The picnic got me thinking. The secluded Chac Mool Beach (Playa Chac Mool) is one of the finest beaches Mexico has to offer. With its gorgeous white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters, why not share my Parisian picnicking experience, but in this Caribbean paradise?

Picnic a la Playa works with local food artisans and a sommelier, so we only handpick the highest quality meats, cheeses, breads and wines, as well as fresh salads and decadent desserts.
