What’s included in the picnics?

Your picnic will already be set up by the time you arrive, so you can just sit down, relax, and enjoy a lovely meal. Once you’re done, a team member will return to clean up, so you can get back to sightseeing and enjoying the rest of your time on the beach.

For picnics with the professional photo shoot add-on, our photographer will be at the site and ready to capture candid moments, plus a variety of poses. Your edited photos will be emailed to you.

I selected an oceanfront layout, where will I find it?

When walking through the entrance of Chac Mool Beach (Playa Chac Mool), make a left, and you will see a member of our team ready to greet you and your private picnic already set up.

How do I get to Chac Mool Beach (Playa Chac Mool)?

Chac Mool Beach is in the heart of the hotel zone (Zona Hotelera), just a walk away from Cancun’s nightlife.

You can take public transportation; bus number 1 and bus number 2 both pass Chac Mool Beach. Just ask the bus attendant, and they will kindly let you off at your desired stop. Taxi drivers also know how to get to this well-known beach in Cancun.

What should I do if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

When booking, please inform our team about any dietary requirements or food allergies in the special requests section of the order form. If you are vegetarian, we will accommodate your menu, so you can enjoy your picnicking experience. If you have any questions, contact us via email or give us a call.

What if it rains or my plans change?

The weather in Cancun can be unpredictable. If it rains, we will work with you to either find a cover space or reschedule your picnic. Because our hardworking team puts a lot of time and effort into preparing your picnicking experience, we, unfortunately, cannot issue refunds.

How do I get in contact with Picnic a la Playa if there is an emergency or any issues arise?

What if I am late for my reservation?

We give you a grace period of about 30 minutes to arrive for your reservation. We will try to contact you with the telephone number listed, if there isn’t any contact made than you automatically forfeit your reservation and it is cancelled, no refunds.

How long does the picnic last?

The picnic is approximately 2 hours.

Do you travel?

Yes, we charge a travel fee of $120 usd within Cancun City limits and we need access to a kitchen. Just reach out to us regarding this upcharge for your picnic.
